NVHT provides low-interest loans for acquisition, project development, construction/rehab and other gaps in financing to projects that help us meet our mission to facilitate affordable housing in Butte County and beyond.
Our current lending priorities include (but aren’t limited to):
Closing the gap: projects that serve households making between 0%-60% of area median income (up to $36,000 annually for a family of 3 in 2019)
Short term loans (1-5 years)
Projects that include supportive services
Innovation, sustainability (financial and ecological), and collaboration
